Since I won a lot of money in the lottery, I am now able to afford things that I wasn’t given the opportunity to have back when I was poor. Although I am smart about my money and put a lot of it on investments and various businesses, I do have moments where I splurge a lot of it on dumb things. Take for instance the time I wanted to travel the countryside. Rather than take the car I recently bought (and expensive at that), I took a coach hire for the trip where I was the only passenger. I would get some looks from people as well as the driver of the coach, but that did not matter to me. All I was thinking that time was how happy I felt that I am able to afford this luxury, even though it seemed really stupid. Maybe someday I won’t splurge as much on ridiculous expenses, but as long as I feel the need nothing can stop me.

We all want something really fun to do for our summer vacation this year. It would be pretty boring if we had to head to the beach yet again, so I am going to try to find some cheap summer accommodation London to see if we could have a trip there. There are so many things that would be fun to do with my friends in London that we couldn’t do anywhere else. For instance, we could go see Big Ben and some of the other historical landmarks. We don’t need anywhere fancy to stay as long as it is clean and we are getting a good deal on the nightly rates. I think it would be fun for us stay out late at the pub and then walk our way back to the place we are staying at night. Traveling to London is something we have to do before we graduate.
