I need to buy some new patio furniture to replace the old and also to enhance my newly created updated outdoor space. I’m having a bit of difficulty deciding on exactly what style and material to choose. I love the fairy tale look of cast iron and cast aluminum patio furniture with the fancy scrollwork. I really want to create a plush, comfortable area that I can entertain friends in or just relax and unwind. My problem with the cast iron or aluminum is that if I place cushions on them, I lose most of the beautiful scrollwork but if I don’t, I lose comfort. I’m leaning more towards some wicker resin patio furniture with thick cushions that will provide the comfortable atmosphere without losing the style I was going for. I do have a small gazebo area that is perfect for a small morning coffee table and I think I will get a cast aluminum set for that space but keep to the comfort of the wicker for the rest. I chose cast aluminum over the cast iron for the gazebo area because this area is not fully covered and protected and I will have to move the set inside at times. Cast iron is heavy and would be difficult for me to move on my own if the need arose. The wicker resin will be all contained under my large covered patio area. The wicker furniture comes in so many different styles and groupings that I should be able to create a comfortable seating area by the outdoor television as well as a separate conversation area. I also want to purchase a dining set so we can utilize the new outdoor kitchen we just finished creating. Wicker Resin comes in a gorgeous dark expresso color that will allow my small cast aluminum set to blend in well. I can’t wait to throw my first outdoor party when I finally get all the furniture in place.

Having slept in several different bunk beds as a kid, I can swear to the fact that a separate ladder is absolutely necessary.
