How to Clean Leather
Thursday, September 1st, 2011
Believe it or not the best way to clean leather is by using good old soap and water. This with the combination of a good Leather Conditioner will do wonders for your leather. Leather is a skin and you want to treat it like your own skin so you should clean it regularly. I would suggest cleaning your leather twice a month even if you don’t think that it is dirty. Take a clean rag and a some organic soap, which has fewer chemicals in it than regular soap to make sure your leather product is free from harmful chemicals. Wash your leather product gently using the rag. Do not be to rough because you don’t want to scratch your leather. Clean your leather in this manner and then hang dry it in a cool place. Do not put your leather in the dryer or hang it in direct contact with sunlight because it will damage your leather.
Once you have cleaned your leather you are going to want to use a leather conditioner to protect it. A leather conditioner rejuvenates old leather and heals damaged leather. It seals the cracks in your leather so that dirt and dust won’t seep in and produce further damage. This is important because it will help protect your leather over time. All leather conditioners are different and you should look for one that is high in quality and spreads evenly over leather with our clumping. You should read reviews and test various leather conditioners before picking the one for you. Make sure you test the leather conditioner on a small part of your leather and not on the entire thing this will prevent you from ruining your leather. It is important that you take the time to find the best leather conditioner because leather is an expensive invesment and you want to protect it with the Best Leather Conditioner out there.

How to Make Soap at Home Without Lye
Monday, May 9th, 2011
If you want to know how to make soap without lye then you need to realize that all soap is made with lye. However you can purchase a melt and pour soap making base that has been made with lye but does not contain the chemical lye anymore because once soap has been made and converted properly it no longer contains lye. It’a a little strange but true.
So if you don’t want to have to deal with lye then you can start making soap at home today by getting a melt and pour soapmaking base which you can melt at home in a steel cooker and then insert your own ingredients such as fragrances, oatmeal, ground coffee beans, or natural colorings.
Soap making can be very rewarding so if you want to do it then you should get started right away. Get started from scratch or with a melt and pour kit. Because homemade soap making is fun.

The Wood Working Hobby
Saturday, October 2nd, 2010
These days people do have all kind of hobbies and there are some hobbies which one can turn into a passion. One of such hobbies is Wood working. Some guys collect stamps, some ppeople collect cars, some even collect all kind of weird Bottle caps, but I like woodworking.
I mean there is no more fun than imagining a piece of art ( that’s what I call my workpieces) in your mind and then give it a shape on the workplace. There are many power tools which are required to pursue the hobby of wood working seriously. One of them is Wood Router. There are many king of wood routers though available in the market. Problem is that you need to choosee the right one for the job. The wood routers are like your weapon going into a war. One of the most versatile tools ever invented for the woodwork. Trust me you can not imagine a wooden piece of art without a wood worker.

Hummels Figurines in the Living Room
Saturday, September 11th, 2010
A house in order to be a home should be livable. It should make anyone who enters it feel at home and relaxed. The physical needs of the family are food, clothing and shelter. While the social needs include a place to entertain visitors or have fun with each other.
Pieces of furniture in the room should harmonize with each other. They should not be too large nor too small for the room. Avoid elaborately carved ornaments if you do not have enough time for cleaning it and if it’s out of place in the house. Rather, choose some figurines like hummels figurines which are easy to clean and maintain.
The comfort, convenience and satisfaction of a family depends upon the kind of house they have and the relationship of its members. A house can be called a home if it is comfortable to live in, attractive and meets the physical as well as the social needs of its occupants; if the activities in the house are gladly shared by all and if there is love and respect among the members of the family.

The Importance Of An Artists Palette
Friday, August 20th, 2010
Every artist, whether they’re producing landscapes or pet portraits, will be familiar with using a palette to hold his or her paints whilst painting. But how many of us pay much attention to them? A good palette is well balanced so that, when being held, has little impact on the hand. For very large palettes it’s often best to add counter weights to offset the weight of the paint, making it much more comfortable in the hand. Use blue-tack on to attach coins to the under side of the palette. Some of the better palettes will have a notch in it’s edge to hold spare brushes, making everything easily accessible to the painter in full flight!
In theory, we should have two palettes. A light coloured one for when we’re painting with a light ground and a dark coloured one for dark grounds. This means that when we’re mixing the colours we can see more accurately the effect of the colour on the ground we’re painting.
Colours should be well separated and mixed well away from the source to avoid contamination and the colours getting muddy. They should also be arranged in order of the spectrum, this reduces the contamination of neighbouring colours and makes it easier to get to the colour you need instinctively.
