Being a nurse is a pretty demanding and time-consuming, yet fulfilling, career. I rarely have time to sit down and eat an actual meal, much less spend time with friends or loved ones, or to take time alone for myself. So naturally I have always assumed that it would be a real hassle to keep up with the requirements for continuing educations courses for those of us in the nursing field. I do believe though, that continuing education is imperative to future success, so I went online to find an easier way by searching for “nursing continuing education courses” and found the perfect solution that wasn’t too time-consuming or hard on the budget. I don’t want to go to law school, it is not for me and I am not the guy who talks about laws and criminal justice with his friends in the local bar. However, I must sign up for a college soon and get some kind of degree (associate degree or bachelor degree, it doesn’t matter really).

I find legal studies to be really interesting and when I visited Kaplan University (we had a tour from school) I saw the young students over there and that’s when I knew I want to be a paralegal. One student told me I can get my paralegal degree from online paralegal programs instead of the formal paralegal studies which costs all of your life savings. I looked into it and the more I read, the more I liked it. I saw that online paralegal degrees are good as any other degree and that paralegals who had their training online are usually accredited and find a job very quick (in the United States). If they can get a paralegal degree online, I can do it too, it shouldn’t be so hard.

I’m about to start my training class for the first time in two hours (yes I chose one of the many online paralegal programs) and my father is proud of me for choosing a good program. I’m his second son but my older brother didn’t have any kind of education and therefore, he is having bad luck with employment and the whole career thing. I hope he’ll chose one of the many certificate programs and learn too, I want him to be successful because he is my brother and I love him.

Desperate to Pass Gamsat?

Have you ever wondered what the best way to prepare for the gamsat test is? Once I was in your shoes. I was desperate to pass gamsat and get into medical school but I had no idea what was the best gamsat preparation method. I must of spent hundreds of euros on different books. Books for science, books on essay writing, books on literature interpretation and so on. And of course that is before we even begin talking about the special gamsat preparation courses and materials that I blew hundreds of euros on. I say blew because to tell you the truth most of them were not worth the money. Anyway now that I have passed gamsat (with a very high score I am proud to say) I wanted to post some tips online to give others the benefit of my experience. This will be the first of three posts on the subject. Today I will cover recommended books from the specifically gamsat orientated products. Next post will be on science preparation and the final post will be on strategy for paper I.
