There are many acts that have been passed on behalf of the customers who are using the products. When someone makes a contract, it is the duty of both the parties to fulfill the contract otherwise the claimant can sue the defendant who is at the breach of contract under the law. The law can require the defendant to provide the remedies for the breach of contract. One of the acts passed on behalf of the consumers is consumer protection act 1987. According to this act the consumer is protected for the problems faced during the course of using a product. Under the section of this act all the safety measures for the consumer, product liability and defenses have been mentioned. Before 1987 the law was same for the south Asian countries and UK. But later, UK made many changes or we can say that they have been updating the law continuously.
